Formlabs Clear Resin V5 in the Tough ABS-like variant is specifically engineered for the Form 4 printer, offering an exceptional blend of transparency and mechanical durability. This 5.0 L cartridge delivers precise prints with high detail resolution and a smooth surface finish. The material features improved toughness, making it less brittle than standard clear resins and capable of withstanding impact and stress, similar to ABS plastic. It is ideal for functional prototypes, transparent casings, technical models, and demanding engineering applications. Post-processing requires thorough washing in isopropyl alcohol, followed by UV curing to achieve final mechanical strength and optical clarity. For maximum transparency, sanding and polishing are recommended. Due to chemical composition, always wear nitrile gloves, safety glasses, and work in a well-ventilated area. Not compatible with older Formlabs printers like the Form 3 or Form 2.
