BASF Ultracur3D ST 80 Gray by Forward AM is a high-performance photopolymer resin engineered for industrial use and demanding 3D printing applications. This gray resin excels through an excellent combination of high stiffness and strength, making it ideal for functional prototypes and durable end-use parts. With a hardness of approximately 83 Shore D, the material offers resistance against deformation and wear. The resin is compatible with standard UV printers (405 nm) and delivers exceptional detail resolution, making it perfect for intricate structures. Suitable applications include engineering, robust casings, fasteners, as well as detailed miniatures and dental models where high precision is required. Post-processing involves thorough cleaning in isopropyl alcohol followed by UV curing to achieve final mechanical properties. Protective gloves and safety glasses should be worn during handling, as the resin may cause skin irritation. The material allows for easy post-processing such as sanding, drilling, and milling.
