Loctite 3D IND405 HDT50 by Henkel is a high-performance engineering acrylic resin designed for applications requiring a balance of heat resistance and high toughness. With a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 50 °C and high elongation at break, this material withstands mechanical stresses that would cause standard resins to fail brittlely. It offers excellent detail resolution, allowing for fine features and smooth surfaces, making it ideal for SLA/DLP printing using 405 nm light sources. The transparent material is perfect for functional prototypes, housings, flexible living hinges, and engineering applications. Due to its mechanical profile, it is less suited for high-detail miniatures or direct dental use where specific biocompatibility is needed. Post-processing involves thorough cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and UV post-curing (365-405 nm) to achieve final properties. Safety notes: Always wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses when handling, as the resin can irritate skin and eyes. Use in a well-ventilated area only.
