BASF Ultracur3D RG 1100 Transparent by Forward AM is a premium standard 3D printing resin based on advanced photopolymers. This transparent resin stands out for its exceptional hardness and stiffness, making it ideal for applications requiring mechanical load-bearing capacity while maintaining fine detail resolution. It is perfectly compatible with common LCD and DLP printers in the 405 nm wavelength range. After printing, thorough post-curing with UV light (e.g., 395 nm) is necessary to achieve final mechanical properties and maximum transparency. The resin is versatile: suitable for precise miniatures, detailed jewelry pieces, as well as technical prototypes and functional models in engineering. Due to its high biocompatibility, it is also suitable for dental applications such as denture models. Safety notes: Always wear protective gloves and safety glasses when handling and ensure adequate ventilation, as the resin may cause skin irritation. Post-processing includes washing in isopropyl alcohol to remove uncured resin, removing support structures, and optionally polishing for a glass-clear surface.
