BASF Ultracur3D ST 45 Transparent by Forward AM is a premium acrylate-based standard resin distinguished by exceptional clarity and high mechanical load-bearing capacity. This transparent resin offers an excellent balance of hardness and flexibility, ensuring printed parts are resistant to breakage. Featuring high resolution, it accurately reproduces the finest details, making it ideal for applications where aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand. The resin is optimized for common DLP and LCD printers in the 385 to 405 nm wavelength range and exhibits low viscosity for reliable layer adhesion. After printing, models should be cleaned in isopropyl alcohol and fully post-cured with UV light (e.g., 405 nm) to achieve maximum strength. Its application range is versatile: it is perfect for detailed miniatures, functional engineering prototypes, transparent enclosures, and dental models such as orthodontic patterns. Handle with care: always wear protective gloves and work in a well-ventilated area, as the resin may cause skin irritation. Post-processing steps include removing support structures and optional polishing for a crystal-clear surface.
